December 2006 Powerfull New Reporting Options ----- In addition to the numerous reports provided as standard, there will soon be available a number of new management modules. These may be added at additional cost to both new and current site Installations i.e. Quickdine Version 2.15 and above. The modules include:- Menu Recipe Costing (a change in a cost price will automatically recost all associated menu items), Stock Control, Automatic Replenishment Orders for Single & Raw Stocked Commodities, Purchase Order Control, Stock Location Control, Time In Attendance (with biometric log-in option for staff wage calculation): Historical Sales reporting, Actual GP's are calculated and reported accurately with full cost of sales and profits shown weekly & monthly. An automated reports scheduler allows unattended generation of Daily, Weekly & Monthly reports. Head Office Remote Control for multiple sites is also availsble. This new suite of reports ensures that the Quickdine Product provides caterers with one of the most comprehensive management tools available in the Cashless Dining Sector.

November 2006 PowerPos New release version 6.1 Follwing a recent visit from PowerPos S.A. MD Carl Jones LCR announce that we can now offer this latest version which has enhancements over the previous version 6.0 such as:- Biometric id for operator log in and time in attendance modules. The software has also been enhanced with a video & promotional advertising facility which run well on our new range 15" dual screen model. Additionally coupon promotions are provided to encourage repest visits. Powertill is probably the most advanced Epos solution available to both the dealer and end user market. It can handle a single store with multiple tills to a head office environment with warehouse automated stock replenishment requirements.

October 2006 Barcode scanning added. A new barcode scanning facility has been added to the system. This has been requested by a new site as they are running the cashless system in their school Uniform & Stationery supplies shop. The Pos unit can read all retail and in-house supplied barcodes. Further additional enhancements have also been added to the QuickDine Point of sale module.

September 2006 Standalone Network Saves the day Our new standalone facility proves itself during a busy Lunchtime session at a site, when a network point was damaged by a Pupil. The Point of sale device continued to operate offline and all data was transmitted after the unit went back on line.

Not all systems are created equal ! Our Quickdine 15" LCD terminal shown earlier, has a small footprint requiring less counter space. It is a one piece PC boasting a diecast body of heavy gauge industrial quality aluminium, Quite unlike some cashless offerings we have seen recently, where a plastic 12" touch screen is mounted above a separate desktop pc with pole display !!!!.

Join The Video Age ! As from July 06, a dual VGA graphics processor is now provided at no additional cost. This device allows a simple future upgrade path to dual screen output (as shown below). Our add on video information software module, allows live video advertising clips such as tomorrows menu choices, important school events or healthy eating information or indeed just about anything to be displayed either at the rear of the till on an optional 12" integrated LCD screen which can double up as the customer display (as below). Alternatively the video output may be routed to wallmounted LCD or Plasma screens .

New ! Automatic Independent Till Opertation During A Network Failure Event No more frantic scribbling down card numbers & meal items on paper in the event of a Network Failure. If a tillpoint should lose it's network connection or indeed should a network completely malfunction for some reason, the tillpoints will not stop working. They will switch to Independent operation. This will allow staff to process sales as normal via fingerprint or card minimising the disruption to the school during such an event. When the network is recovered the stored data will be transmitted back to the server PC.

QuickDine Gets The "Thumbs Up" A Biometric I.D. method has now been incorporated into our cashless dining system, with good captured print quality biometric methods can be as efficient as a traditional plastic card i.d. methods and proivide simplified account management. This new method provides secure registration of pupil meal choices. Monies may be credited also at the remote revaluation machines using the integral fingerprint scanner. We have chosen a superior indistrial quality device which can access a print from 25,000 in under 1 second.
