The
touch screen makes using pupils accounts much more easier
and accessible. Each class has its own individual ID Icon. Each pupil
will have a personal picture which is used to access their personal
meal account details.
Latest
News ! BioScanID method. We have added a biometric ID system
to the primary school system which allows pupils to record their visit
by placing their print on the scanner unit. This method of i.d has
also been provided on the wallmounted account revaluation terminals.
Adopting biometrics with good print quality, provides increased security,
reduce errors in misidentifying pupils by their photo image and increased
speed of operation at the till point as the need to visually identify
the pupil is removed.
A camera function is incorporated which allows the operator to update
the pupil image during a visit if required
The
primary school edition of The QuickDine system provides a complete
Dinner Money Recording and Cashless environment payment system, where
young children can get used to operating within a cashless environment
prior to moving on to High School.
All the till operator has to do, is when the child arrives at the
till with their meal is touch the class ID icon then the image of
the child on the till which opens up the account for processing the
transaction. Alternatively the pupil may place their thumbprint on
the biometric scanner unit and their account is accessed automatically.
The remainder of the transaction is the same as the normal Cashless
Touch Software for High schools which gives compatibility and continuity
of data report format throughout a Local Authority area.
An important feature designed especially for schools is the parental
report. Each week the system can generate activity reports for the
child to take home if the school should so wish. This eliminates the
problem of parents never really knowing how much money the child has
left on their dinner money account.
Latest
News ! Nutritional Data New reports have been designed
to show the nutritional values of the meals taken by pupils over a
date range.
Banking is greatly simplified as all cash payments may be entered
by pupils using their own unique account. Automatic Letters may be
generated by the system to advise parents when an overspend may occur
on a Pupil Account.
